The traffic jam in Starnberg is becoming an even bigger problem for the fire brigades. The situation is likely to worsen due to the full closure of Münchner Straße at the end of August.
The fire brigade does not have the staff for this, especially not with full-time staff. At least during the day, it should not be possible to rely on smaller weirs in the area such as Percha or Kempfenhausen, says district fire officer Helmut Schweickart.
