Flames in the Fischbachau fire station: compressed air compressor catches fire. Firefighters only had to drive a few meters out of the garage during their operation on Sunday afternoon.
The reason: The smoke development took place under their own roof. In May 2022 there was a fire in the wood chip bunker of their commander's sawmill. But the damage is limited to the compressor - and the acrid smell of smoke in all the suits. “We will have to have them all cleaned one by one,” says the nevertheless relieved commander.
