Red flood alert remains in force this Tuesday in Yonne and Saône-et-Loire. The Armaçon river, which crosses Yonne, began to overflow on Monday.

The Côte d'Or has returned to orange vigilance for the same risks. In mid-March, eight people died in bad weather linked to storm Monica which hit the south-east of France, killing eight people in total, including four children. The authorities have increased calls for caution.
