Following intelligence information about the presence of senior Hamas officials: the IDF launched a targeted operation at Shifa Hospital. According to the IDF spokesman's report, the organization's senior officials use the hospital to conduct and carry out terrorist operations.
The army stressed that the forces were trained for the mission and were briefed in advance regarding the importance of preventing harm to patients and medical staff. Even during the operation, the IDF guarantees the continued operation of the hospital, and brought Arabic speakers to the field, so that they can have a conversation with the patients staying there.
