For the 4th of December: a huge volcano erupted in Iceland. The eruption of the mountain, located in the southwest of the country, began on Saturday night.
According to a local professor, it was "bigger than the previous eruption" - which occurred not long ago. The residents of the area, who are experienced with eruptions, managed to keep the destructive lava away from the infrastructure, including from a nearby fishing town, using barriers that were built ahead of time.
