The new Rudolf and Maria Gunst House (RMG) nursing home is the first phase of the largest overall construction project to date in Gräfelfing. The latest generation nursing home will offer 96 places exclusively in single rooms on three full floors.

As soon as the move to the new building has taken place, the current retirement home will be demolished. In its place, four houses with serviced living are to be built. They offer a total of 61 apartments between 50 and 80 square meters on four floors, whose residents can book additional support as needed. The costs for the entire project on the site are considerable; they amount to 65 million euros. Of this, 21.5 million go to the nursing home, for which there are subsidies of 10.5million euros. The second construction phase, which will also include the construction of the ground-level multi-purpose room, is scheduled to begin at the beginning of 2026 and the houses should be ready for occupancy at the end of 2027.
