France Travail, formerly Pôle emploi, announced that it had been the victim of a computer attack potentially leading to exfiltration of personal data. The database that would have been extracted contains the personal identification data of people currently registered but also of people previously registered over the last 20 years.

If passwords and banking details are not put at risk, identity data such as surname, first name, date and place of birth are, as is social security number. It is essential to never communicate your password or banking details by email.
