Veronica faced a path of recovery and rebirth until she graduated in Urbino. She wanted to share this achievement with the carabinieri of the Brecce Bianche station in Ancona.
The presence of the Carabinieri, the station recalls, "was not just a symbolic gesture but represented a strong message of encouragement and trust in Veronica's path to recovery and growth" "I can't say I've made it, I say I'm making it," wrote Veronica's mother in the email addressed to the police. "I look ahead with awareness towards new horizons," she said. "You actively participated in the construction of this rebirth," the mother wrote to the station, adding: "You were there in the most dramatic moments, an obvious goal for some, but not in this case, which is also a restart with a new life project". The commander of the station gave her best wishes on behalf of the entire Army and, at the end of the ceremony, received the most sincere thanks from Veronica.
