Freising crime statistics: rapes in the domestic environment are increasing. Ten cases of domestic rape were investigated in 2023 – an increase of 400 percent.
There were two cases in 2022. For the Freising city area, the police recorded 2,043 crimes last year - in 2022, 2,198 crimes were counted (minus 155 cases, 7.1 percent) The clearance rate of PI Freising was 60.6 percent in 20 23 (2022: 63.5 percent) and thus fell by 2.9 percent compared to the previous year.
