Edison Next and Sea, Milan Airports, announce the development of a green hydrogen refueling station within the airport. The plant is expected to enter service between December 2025 and February 2026, in order to be operational for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The system will be able to deliver at double pressure, 350 and 700 bar, to serve all types of vehicles present in the Malpensa Cargo City area. "The airport sector is one of the most challenging from the point of view of energy transition", says Gabriele Lucches, hydrogen director of Edison Next.
