[HIGHLIGHTS] From the district council: District committee decides on the spatial program for expansion plans of the district office

The Unterallgäu district office will need 320 new office jobs by 2042. The new offices are to be built in three phases.

The outbuilding, which currently houses the agricultural office, will be demolished and the area will be completely replanned. The agricultural office will then also be housed in the new buildings. Construction work is also planned for the meeting room, which needs to be enlarged because, due to population growth, 70 instead of 60 district council members will be elected in the upcoming local elections.
