A 57-year-old woman from Munich is suspected to be the cause of the collision. A man (30) from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district died and five other people were injured, some of them life-threatening and seriously.
It is now largely clear how the collision, which involved four cars, occurred. An accident analysis report is currently being prepared on behalf of the Munich II public prosecutor’s office, says Joachim Loy, head of the Murnau police station.
