Several gas cylinders explode on a ten-storey building on a construction site in Hamburg's HafenCity. The police had asked residents of the Hafencity and adjacent districts to keep windows and doors closed because of the smoke.
In the late afternoon, however, there was no more smoke to be seen. No people were injured in the incident, according to the head of operations of the fire brigade, who took a crane operator to an ambulance, where he was spotted by the emergency doctor.
