Gas exporters forum launches research institute in Algiers. Institute will seek to expand cooperation between the Forum's member states in the field of technology.
One of the first topics to explore is how to reduce the quantity of gas burned and find effective and innovative technological solutions that allow natural gas to improve its role in the global energy transition, says the Algerian Ministry of Energy and Mines. The institute will establish a framework for scientific cooperation through the exchange of information, support for innovation, sharing of expertise and skills.
