8,000 people evacuated from a hospital in Khan Younes according to the Red Cross. Thousands of displaced people had found refuge in the Palestinian Red Crescent al-Amal hospital.
Around a hundred elderly and disabled people who have not been able to leave the hospital, 80 patients and 100 staff and volunteers are still inside. For more than two weeks, the hospital has been surrounded by fierce fighting, and even "hit several times", including last Friday, causing the death of the head of the Crescent's Youth and Volunteers department.
