Geev, the object donation application born in Bordeaux, raises 4.5 million euros. The application for donating objects between individuals, which already has five million users, has just passed a new milestone.
Geev estimates that it has enabled around 25 million donations to be made, thus avoiding the emission of 180,000 tonnes of CO2. Every year in France, nine million tonnes of still usable objects are thrown away by homes. Since the launch of the application, more than 150 million euros have in fact been saved by users.
