Germans spent more on vacation last year than ever before - most of all on Greece. Despite increased costs, German vacationers did not want to forego their time off in 2023.
On average, a person spent over 1,500 euros on their trip. Holidaymakers paid the most for a break in Greece (1,755 euros) and Spain ( 1,663 euros) Holidays in Germany have also become more expensive by 20 euros to 132 euros per day, even though the travel costs are lower.
