Grafrath receives significantly more money from the state than expected. In 2023, trade tax revenue of 1.2 million euros was better than the budget estimate of 750,000 euros.
Despite the unexpectedly good news, there is a need for discussion in the local council about the expenses - especially for the Bürgerstadl. The town hall boss wants to report more on this at the next finance committee on March 4th. The debate about the asset budget could become more complicated than the administrative budget.
