The experiment represents a key element of the plan to improve working conditions at the Régie. Since the end of January, 170 volunteer RATP agents working in stations on lines 5, 7 and 9 of the metro as well as RER B have started to test this new work rhythm.

If the experiment, which will be carried out at least until next October, proves conclusive, the possibility of moving to a 4-day week could then be open to all of Régie's 6,000 station agents.
