Groundbreaking ceremony for waterworks expansion in Uffing: community invests around 1.3 million euros. So far, the Uffinger waterworks, located just before entering the town on the right on Murnauer Strasse, has three wells that pump groundwater into a concrete suction tank.
This dates back to the 1960s, so renovation was urgently needed. The community wants to keep construction costs as low as possible for the extension, which is why, for example, the community's own wood is used for the roof structure and wooden cladding.
