Clashes broke out between demonstrators and security forces in Conakry on Thursday evening after a power outage. The Electricité de Guinée company explained the outage in a press release by “an incident on a high voltage pylon” Two children aged eight and 14 were shot and killed on Tuesday in Kindia, 130 km east of Conakries.
