Hamas condemned Javier Milei's announcement about the transfer of the Argentine embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. The Islamist group considered that the measure is "a violation" of their rights over those lands.
The President's initiative means recognizing the city as the Israeli capital. The Palestinian group is at war with Israel in Gaza, following the October attack on a kibbutz in the south of the country. The libertarian has already prepared a decree to include Hamas within the list of groups recognized as terrorists.
