Hang up immediately! Calls from tricksters are increasing in Penzberg and Antdorf. Police are warning about the so-called grandchild scam.
People were called and relatives were informed about alleged traffic accidents. The aim of the callers was to get people to hand over money, the police said. Luckily, those called recognized the scam and hung up immediately. No damage was therefore caused. The police advise you to stop suspicious calls immediately and call the police on 08856/92570.
