Verdi union has called on security forces at eleven airports to go on an all-day strike. Hamburg and Berlin airports had previously announced that they would be canceling flights due to the nationwide strike. Collective bargaining will continue on February 6th and 7th for 25,000 industry employees nationwide. The aviation security forces work at checks for passengers, baggage and personnel. Without them, normal operation is not possible.
