Honor and Xiaomi are banking on luxury to catch up with Apple and Samsung. The two Chinese smartphone manufacturers unveiled their ultra-premium models at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
With the Magic 6 Pro for Honor and the Xiaomi 14, the two groups hope to play spoilsport in a market today dominated by Apple andSamsung. Honor, a former subsidiary of Huawei which became independent in 2020 and which in 2023 was the leading seller of Android phones, launched on Sunday with the Magic6 Pro.
