Julieta Siles, 20, was found dead in a vacant lot in the town of General Güemes, in Salta. A truck driver has been arrested on suspicion of having participated in the crime.
The autopsy is awaited, but the main hypothesis is that it was a femicide. If proven, this would be the second femicide recorded in the city of Salta so far in 2024. The first was Laura Díaz, 64, who was stabbed to death on January 17 in Metán.
