Two radicals and four deputies from the Pichetto bloc opposed Javier Milei's project. In addition, there were three absentees.
The official project had 38 votes from the La Libertad Avanza bloc, 37 from the PRO, and nine from Federal Innovation. A rarity was that of the Por Santa Cruz bloc: José Luis Garrido voted in favor of the law in general, while former governor Sergio Acevedo voted against the law. The radical bloc that had anticipated voting together in general favor and then Facundo Manes and Pablo Juliano opposed it.
