Romina Camejo (26) is accused of killing her husband Gonzalo Aguiar (46) in Punta del Este. Her aunt, Adriana Díaz, says there was never a real marriage between the two.
She says they had a power relationship linked to the age difference and economic power. The aunt says that during her nine-month pregnancy, Romina was harassed by the man, who sent her fake messages from his phone. The woman, mother of a 6-month-old baby, was released by Justice but not allowed to leave Montevideo.
