IG Metall welcomes new order for Meyer-Werft. New ship will be sister ship to the Carnival Jubilee, which will be delivered in 2023.
Ship will be around 344 meters long and offer space for more than 6,400 people. LNG-powered ships emit less climate-damaging carbon dioxide, but more methane, as the Nature Conservation Association (Nabu), among others, explains. The order book now includes five cruise ships, a research ship and the steel construction for four substations on high seas.
