Two men, aged 50 and 38, were arrested on Sunday afternoon in the small village of Saint-Thurial. They are suspected of having beaten two thirty-year-olds, one of whom died from his injuries.
The two suspects were placed in police custody after being arrested by the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group (GIGN) which had discreetly deployed around their home, “not far from the facts” The second victim was transported to the emergency room and “his days do not appear to be in danger”
