The two drivers overtook despite the ban on overtaking and oncoming traffic. Other road users sometimes had to swerve and brake to avoid a collision. In the worst case, speeders face a prison sentence of up to three years. Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact the Garmisch-Partenkirchen police.
