Important amphibian migration in Kreuth: preliminary investigations for frog tunnels on the B 307 are underway. For the first time there is a frog fence at Suttensee in Rottach-Egern.

Cars often run over toads as the animals cross roads on the way to spawning grounds. The establishment of a frog tunnel is therefore being examined for the B 306 in the Miesbach district. The toad migration is also peak season for Thomas Doreth who looks after the frog fence on federal highway 307 near Kreuth.
