In Bouches-du-Rhône, the rescue of 10 abandoned pigs mobilizes around fifty people. The ten Vietnamese pigs, left abandoned on land in Allauch by their former owner, were taken care of by numerous volunteers, elected officials and local associations.
“We had to take seven people to carry one. It wasn't easy, we had to use tranquilizers to recover them,” explains Sébastien Pasqualini, coordinator of the Vietnamese pig rescue operation.
