Despite the obvious damage, the nets “have not lost their protective function,” says Nadine Heiß, deputy head of the road construction department. If a stone or a tree falls into the net, it is not broken, but the rope brake cushions the load. Nevertheless, the constructs will be repaired as quickly as possible.
