In Nantes, a leisure plane takes off without a pilot on the airport tarmac. An investigation into a “serious incident” was opened by the BEA following the incident which took place at the beginning of March, without causing any casualties or damage.
A passenger was also present on board the aircraft during the incident. The final report on this incident is not expected for several months. The pilot, a member of the Loire-Atlantique flying club, had just left his cabin to manually turn the propellers of the aircraft.
