The attempt dates back to 11 September 2022, to communicate the registration in the Guinness World Records. A hundred pastry chefs and chefs from all over Italy, coordinated by master pastry chef Lillo Defraia, created the record. The initiative saw the patronage of the Sicily Region Department of Tourism, Sport and Entertainment, of the City of Caltanissetta, and of public and private partners.
