Major General Natan Bonza informed Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai of his desire to retire from the organization. Bonza, 60, a father of three from Rishon LeZion, is expected to leave in the coming months.

He joins a string of extras who have left the organization since Saturn's appointment, most recently just two weeks ago. Some of the extras who retired did so after harsh criticism of Saturn. This is due to his apparent lack of leadership as a police commissioner who has been dealing with a crisis of public trust.
