In the middle of February, spring is putting out its feelers. In Bruck’s city gardener Valentin Zeh, snowdrops, winter aconites or crocuses are already starting to grow.
Those plants that cause problems for allergy sufferers are also active - such as hazelnuts. Winter could strike again mercilessly at any time in February and March. For the plants that are already there, one can only hope that there is a blanket of snow. It protects against nasty frost.
