In the Oise, pig and hunting festivals canceled because of the Paris Olympics. The police being mobilized for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Crépy-en-Valois pig festival will not have an edition this year.
“We were warned that the police would not be available during these periods,” says Michel Fessart, president of the Les Cochons de CréPy association. The festival has been held every year since 1996. It is traditionally scheduled for the end of August, but will not take place in 2024.
