At least nine accidents occurred on the A95 between Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen alone on Saturday and Sunday. Several road users are said to have been using summer tires again.
On Sunday morning, a BMW and a Porsche collided on a snowy road near the Schäftlarn motorway junction. A slightly injured female passenger in the Porsche was given medical treatment by the fire department and later taken to a hospital by ambulance. The motorway had to be completely closed for around 45 minutes.
