Increased risk of forest fires: Miesbach District Office appeals to citizens. Smoking and lighting fires are strictly prohibited in the district.
Smoking, open fires and campfires must be kept at a safety distance of at least 100 meters. No glass should be left in forests or open spaces because of the burning glass effect. Grass areas can catch fire from hot exhaust. Last June, the district office also warned of an increased risk and banned Daxen fires in the Miesach district.
