The Friendship Fund will distribute armored security vehicles to 9 local authorities on the northern border at a cost of 7.5 million shekels. Similar vehicles donated by the fund in the south saved the lives of civilians on October 7.
The 9 authorities that will receive armored vehicles are Shlomi, Metula, Kiryat Shmona and the regional councils of Ma'ale Yosef, Upper Galilee, Marom Galilee and Meta Asher. The move, which will be launched and completed in the coming weeks, takes place within the framework of the efforts of the fund to strengthen the civilian home front.
