The Pöcking brass band gave a wonderful spring concert in the Beccult. It was the first performance for the youth brass band.
Conductor Markus Maier brought the band to top performance; his conducting was as lively as the music. The Florentine March led to the overture of the opera Nabucco, followed by a particularly difficult piece “Tesoro mio” (my darling) The striking Sabine Scherer sang a Caterina Valente medley. Everyone wanted to sing along to “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Honolulu Beach Bikini”
