Police are investigating doctors at the Bodensee Medicine Campus in Friedrichshafen. Accusation ranges from suspicion of medical malpractice with negligent homicide to initial suspicion of billing fraud.
An investigative group called “Cura’ has been set up to look into the case. The first preliminary investigations began after the suicide of a doctor at the clinic at the end of November, who had pointed out the grievances to the police and public prosecutor's office. Evidence was seized from the clinic on Thursday.
