According to an informant who had already given previews of Apple's changes in strategy in the past, which were then confirmed, the basic iPhone 16, i.e. not the Pro and Pro Max models, will see a return to the configuration of the cameras in vertical arrangement. The reason would lie in the need for Apple to allow even the cheapest versions to shoot "space" videos, to be viewed on Vision Pro viewers.
