She said she had been disabled since a car accident six years before. The court established that the young Irishwoman had only consulted a doctor after the competition, complaining of no longer being able to lift a heavy bag without feeling searing pain. He ultimately dismissed the case, considering that the plaintiff's behavior after her car accident was “in total contradiction” with her statements made about her injuries.
