Israel would be willing to accept, but only for children or the elderly. Hamas also wants the withdrawal of the IDF from towns and populated areas, and the free movement of Palestinians within the Gaza Strip. In this context, 42 hostages, women, sick and elderly people would be released in exchange, for each, from 20 to 50 Palestinians, imprisoned in Israel.
