Achziv Sea Nature Reserve is the largest marine reserve in Israel. It stretches seven kilometers from the Lebanese border to Nahariya.

Most of the reserve is in the water, in order to allow fish and other animals to live there. The larger animals are found mainly in the deeper regions, which reach 850 meters. The reserve is supposed to ensure a high level of water cleanliness in the area. It is one of the most beautiful places in Israel, with many tourists coming to enjoy it.
