Several thousand liters of liquid manure spilled onto the street at around 9:37 a.m. on Thursday after an accident in Huntlosen (Grossenkneten municipality) An agricultural team consisting of a tractor and a liquid manure tank trailer wanted to turn off the roundabout towards Sannumer Straße.
For reasons unknown, the trailer's rear axle broke and a wheel came off. The side tank connection also sheared off and a large part of the 18,000liters of manure spilled. A second tanker finally vacuumed up the manure from the street.
