Italy beach suddenly gone: violent storms devastate the Adriatic coast. Two kilometers - according to initial estimates, around 5,000 cubic meters of sand have been torn into the sea.
It is not the first time that Jesolo beach has disappeared after a storm. The town wants to protect the seashore from erosion in the future. 567,500 euros will be available for this in 2024. The money will also be used to bring new sand to the area and restore the Jesolo coast.
